Movie Star In The Making

FAME Pro Julie Marsland has stepped out of competition heels and into a rogue military style uniform as she stars in a movie called Reckon 2023.  In this independant film due out in 2009, Julie plays alongside another well known fitness competitor, Valerie Wiseman.  Shot in the sandbanks of St-Polycarpe Quebec, Julie fights battle in a futuristic setting while showcasing her physique.

Shellene Brodie Opens The Bikini Lounge

FAME Athlete Shellene Brodie is launching her new business “The Bikini Lounge” early this fall in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta.

This is no ordinary bikini store Shellene explains; “We’ve just started construction and the grand opening will be late October. I’m bringing in more fashionable stuff as opposed to the regular basics you find in swimco and surf stores. It will be great for bikini model competitors because instead of ordering you will be able to come in and actually see what the suit looks like on and see the true color. I’ll also be carrying fashion forward mens suits as well. The Bikini Lounge will be a unique swimwear buying experience, with small order numbers so you’ll be the only one on stage with that style.”

The Bikini Lounge is a high fashion swimwear boutique.  Shellene says “You’ll never have to order online again”…Get brands such as; Ed Hardy, Christian Audiger, True Religion, Sauvage, Vix, Crystal Rock, Smet, Jessica Simpson, Salinas, Vitamin A, B. swim..to name a few! The store doesn’t carry just bikinis, there will be a large variety of different cuts and styles, cover ups, and sandals. For the Gents, don’t feel left out, there is also an extensive men’s selection.

FAME Camps This Weekend

This long weekend you will have a chance to satisfy your Level 1 requirements to compete in any Level 2 show.  How do you do that you ask?  By attending one of the two FAME Camps taking place this weekend.  If you are near the Toronto or Beverly Hills area you can be coached by FAME Pros Andrew Judson or Rob Riches.

Diana Chaloux and Max Muscle

FAME Fitness Model World Champion Diana Chaloux along with UFC Legend Chuck Liddell will be at Max Muscle Sports Nutrition in Lincoln, NE on October 3rd from 3pm to 7pm signing autographs and meeting their fans.
