FAME Camps are a great way to satisfy your level 1 requirements prior to competing in any show this fall but that’s not all.  FAME Camps are a great refresher for those wanting to practice their posing, walking, turns and stage presence in front of a FAME Pro or Official in a private studio setting.

Oxygen Magazine has multiple publications associated for women, a few include; Oxygen Magazine, the Abs Special, the Glutes Special and the newest being Clean Eating Magazine.  The one thing that the 3 magazines above have in common is that they have FAME athletes on the cover.  FAME Pro Fitness Model Maggie Diubaldo appears on this Summer’s Ab Special cover, FAME Fitness Model Tosca Reno appears on this Summer’s Glute Special cover and FAME Pro Fitness Model Jamie Eason appears in the latest issue of Oxygen Magazine.  All of these are available on newsstands now!  The Abs and Glute Specials are collector’s editions however I think because we have FAMEr’s on the cover you should grab them all

The FAME Regionals that took place in Durban and Johannesburg, South Africa was recently featured in South Africa’s own Fitness Magazine.  Check out the page dedicated to the top placers from the last two shows.

It seems that FAME Pro Kendall Wood’s appearance on Bodybuilding.com’s interview channel was a huge success.  His live chat was well-attended, very interactive, and quite entertaining.  Everyone at Bodybuilding.com enjoyed meeting Kendall and spending time with him.  While at the Bodybuilding.com headquarters Kendall filmed a training episode, had a photo shoot and filmed a few “tips of the week.”

Are you competing in an upcoming show?  You can purchase your tickets online anytime.  However there is a limit to 6 tickets per athlete so be sure to get your tickets in advance.  Simply visit www.FAMEworldtour.com/tickets and click on the show you would like to purchase tickets for, select the tickets, choose the amount and pay online.  Once your payment is complete you can print off your tickets and voila you are all set.

Want to register but don’t have all the money now?  Want to pay in installments?  This summer we have introduced the partial payment plan.  Log on and register for an event, when you get to the payment page simply type in the amount you would like to pay.  A minimum of $50 is due at time of processing and the remainder of the balance is due at least 30 days prior to the event to ensure your registration.  How awesome is that!  Take your time and pay off your membership or entry fees prior to any of the 2008 fall events.

We might have some pictures of all the shows in the results gallery but have you seen the pictures taken by FAME photographer Tim Rollans?

Check out his gallery if you competed in FAME West, FAME Prairies, Ainsley McSorley FAME Model Search Championships or the FAME World Championships. He will have lots of photos of you. If you didn’t compete, this is a great way to get to know the athletes and it is a great way for newbies to see the different costumes, looks and poses that can help in their planning for competition.

What a great souvenir to have, pictures of you when you are on stage in competition mode. This is great to put in your album, give to family and friends or even include in a portfolio. A lot of companies wanting to sponsor athletes want to see you in action and sometimes that can mean competing.

Remember you are always able to purchase photos but to get the best deal we recommend purchasing from the photographer in advance. Emails are sent to you once you register with a link and contact info of the photographer shooting that show. This gives you the opportunity to meet the photographer and to check out his or hers shots. But maybe you didn’t purchase photos in advance and you really like the ones posted in the galleries, don’t fret you can always get them after the fact too.
